We are two colleagues who were searching for a new creative focus outside Fashion. During this contemplative time a handsome dog joined one of our families…
The search to find beautiful dog products with design integrity that also looked good in your home was a challenge… this ignited a creative spark. And that spark became HOUNDDOG, created in our London Hackney and Whitstable studios.

We are committed to reducing our impact on the planet. Hound Dog Collective champions conscious consumption – buy less, consider, invest in the best. Thoughtful innovative design, subtle understated detail and the highest quality workwear materials ensure that all our pieces last and age beautifully. We support craftmanship and sustainable practices, making in small batches with our independent UK suppliers reducing waste and carbon footprint.
QUALITY IS WHAT WE DO
We’ve chosen to use the very best materials. We use premium grade vegetable tanned full-grain English leather hides with solid brass hardware from our West Midlands foundry. We use hardwearing Wax twills and fleece from established UK mills, and luxurious real sheep wool fleece for our Travel Roll Mat Beds. Our durable hand thrown stoneware dog bowls are in Staffordshire speckled clay with Solid European Oak trays made in Kent.
STYLISH INNOVATIVE DESIGN
We wanted to create something necessary and new. So after extensive research with many dog owners our product has some unique problem solving designs. We've created City Short Leads to keep larger dogs dog close, anti-spill Bowl & Tray feeding stations, O-Ring leads to prevent wrist strain and thermally regulating real sheep fleece travel mats to keep your dog cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
We love handsome stuff for dogs and homes. So our workwear inspired palette has longevity and style and comes in co-ordinating ranges. We use elegant classic tan, olive green and navy to work with with contemporary home interiors. Our dog bowls and tray sets come in Sandstone clear (now used in the dog friendly rooms at a luxury global hotel chain) Jet Black and Rose glazes that will look amazing in your home.
And the handsome dog that joined us? A relentless high achiever, Lottie the German Shorthaired Pointer has spent her life rigorously testing all products to the extreme and is now Head of Quality Control.
